We didn’t just add one more superstar to the Dream Team. We added youth, creativity, and a whole lot of talent, too! We’re pumped to welcome Q+M’s newest team member, Nikki Schroeder!
Nikki joins us with the main goal of delivering amazing ads to just the right customers. She’s going to be working alongside Ashley Johnson as our Digital Strategists’ version of Michal Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Sure, we know Nikki is a talented marketer and was almost certainly named after Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx, but what makes her tick? We learn a bit more from the recent Grand Valley State University grad with a few Proustian questions!
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
The trait that I most deplore in myself is my incessant sense of urgency.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
I tend to way overuse the phrase “cool beans.”
When and where were you happiest?
My happiest self has been during times when I am playing card games with family and loved ones, in Michigan’s fall weather with a coffee in hand.
What do you most value in your friends?
I most value wit, honesty, and dependability in my friends.
What is your motto?

Do you have any pets?
I wish I had a pet! My current status is proud future dog mom.
What do you do for fun?
My ideal fun time is exploring nature trails and hiking paths around Michigan.
If you could only pick one social media platform, what would it be?
My one social media platform would be Instagram because I appreciate the range of content that Instagram allows (live video, stories, reels, etc).
What do people NOT know about digital marketing/marketers that they SHOULD know?
The main thing I think people should know about digital marketers that they wouldn’t know is the immense amount of creativity in the job. Creativity flows constantly in determining plans, targeting, optimizations, and so much more every day.
What is the best ad you’ve ever seen?
I really appreciate good billboards, and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital has some of the best! They have a spinal rehabilitation billboard that would have to be one of my favorites.
What or who is your favorite band?
I like a large variety of music, but my favorite singer is Post Malone.
